Wanderer’s Apprentice is dedicated to the exploration and understanding of the natural world through photography. The blog follows photographer and naturalist Drew Fulton as he explores the Finger Lakes region of New York, the northeastern United States, and world beyond. Along the way, Drew will share his experiences in the woods, the natural history of his subjects, and tips to create better photographs of nature.
Drew utilizes his background in biology and ecology and his lifelong passion for birds to create unique photographs that not only please the eye, but tell the subject’s story. Through his photographs and writing, Drew seeks to take you on a journey into the wilds of your backyard, the neighborhood park, and the vast wilderness beyond.
As you join him for the journey, Drew welcomes your comments and input. Please register, come back frequently, and help to make Wanderer’s Apprentice a thriving community.
See you out there!
